District News & Updates

  • STUDENT BUS CARDS

Does your child ride a West Fargo Public Schools bus? All students who ride the bus are required to scan their bus card upon entering and leaving the bus. For the first week of school, only about half of our bus riders scanned their card.

Does your child still need a bus card? Students who have not received a bus card can get one in the school office.

Learn more about our Transportation Department on the department's webage.

  • BEFORE SCHOOL SCREENER

As part of the Return to Learn Plan required by the state, West Fargo Public Schools made a commitment to monitor students and staff for symptoms of COVID-19 and to send them home when those symptoms are identified. You can do your part by completing the screener before sending your child to school/reporting to work.

  • After the First Day of School

As the superintendent of our #districtofchoice, I am privileged to see firsthand more than 11,500 students from preschool to grade twelve gain the skills necessary to become our future teachers, entrepreneurs, doctors, scientists, engineers, public workers, and the like. I am blessed to work with a team of the hardest working, most creative, and truly innovative thinkers in the state. COVID-19 is our current reality, but it is not who we are, nor will it stop us from moving forward. Our education system has been turned upside down, but we will land right side up with innovation beyond what we have imagined.
